Have you ever been with good friends, just hanging out, when someone says something that is so inspiring that you feel like you have been thunderstruck? I recently had that thunderstruck feeling. I was with my good friends Minnie Kansman, Dana “Denise” Iwaniw and Beth Cosmos in a room filled with feminine strength and grace.
We were sharing about what we would like to experience both personally and professionally in 2013. We were dreaming the dream. I shared that I intended to leave Soul’s Journey Radio (grateful for all that I learned and experienced there), as it was time to expand. I was seriously considering starting my own Internet radio station. I had begun the research and saw the possibilities. Dana snapped her head up to look at me and said, “So am I!”
As Dana and I talked about our desires for our individual radio shows (Sacred Hoop with Neshi and Balancing Heaven and Earth with Denise) and the possibilities of our own new radio stations, Minnie stated quite emphatically that we should join our gifts and talents to create a single Internet radio station so that friends wouldn’t have to feel they had to choose between Dana and me. This is when I felt the thunder strike! Dana and I both looked at each other and started to grin, then smile, then laugh. We both loved the idea! We began to throw out possible names and ideas.
I had this flash of a memory about Native American effigy mounds and the theory that the mounds are not just burial mounds, but they also tell a story and are celestial mapping on Earth. Dana shared that it was like messages from home, from the stars.
I realized this feeling of being thunderstruck was not a coincidence. I believe there are a few cosmic reasons why Dana and I are drawn together to create this new radio station connected to the stars. Many Native American nations believe that the Native Americans came from the stars. Dana works with the Lakota Heyoka medicine (medicine of the West, where the thunder beings reside). My clan is the Thunder Bird clan, and I work closely with the spirit of the drum, which resides in the West. Dana and I ca
me to realize that we could reach more souls to help them remember who they really are as we use the expanded vehicle of the Internet radio station, which is linked to the universe, the stars. Star Nations Radio network was conceived that day in Beth Cosmos’ dining room. (I hope the meaning of Beth’s last name isn’t lost on anyone!)
On Feb. 13, my first Sacred Hoop with Neshi show will have my good friend Minnie Kansman as my guest. We will share about feng shui and this year’s Chinese New Year as well as about Feb. 19, an important date in the ascension world. On Feb. 20, the show will feature an Awakening the Illuminated Heart chat with those who have taken the workshop with me and others who are interested in Drunvalo’s work. Feb. 27 will feature information about the healing medicine of plants with Jane Hawley Stevenson of Four Elements Herbals, an organic herbal farm near Baraboo, Wisconsin.
We will have more information about Star Nations Radio in the coming weeks and months. I hope you can join Dana and me as we continue our Internet radio journey on Star Nations Radio.
